What will you do with your guns when you die

Maybe have them liquidized in a will and the benefits go to the local humane society? This is a concern of mine that I am struggling with right now...
(y) Local being the key word. I don't know of any National Humane Society that cares about animals as much as the $$$ they get pretending to take care of animals.

This is a valuable thread (to me). My wife just left me (divorce recently finalized). We have no children and no close relations with nieces/nephews. I have a considerable armory with no one to leave it to. Thinking of customers and those with kids....Don't want to leave to the ex....or have the government have anything to gain. Maybe have them liquidized in a will and the benefits go to the local humane society? This is a concern of mine that I am struggling with right now...

I think Bob has a great idea. Figure out what you really want and need to arm YOURSELF. Liquidate the rest and take yourself somewhere you always wanted to go. The rest have sold on death and sure the humane society is cool.

I have no kids and sad to say other relatives are Liberals. I may convert some into fewer, but higher quality guns. May as well enjoy retirement.
i belong to a private gun club.

it has been here since 1903, and was only a shack, and the shooting took place outside in the sand hill.

they have a trust to keep the club operational.

you gave me an idea, that maybe instead of having my sons sell them, to donate them (by my Will) to the club, which then they can sell and add to that trust fund. it won't be much, but the members can probably haggle for better resale prices.

Or they can become firearms the members can “use” when at the club, say like a “rental” in most gun ranges..
Just a thought

I'm still tryin to bribe @BET7 to get in his will.
Sorry Belt Fed, no Yeet Cannons in my collection, you’ll have to see @10mmLife for his 😆. As for my other guns, I recently gave them to a Nigerian Prince who claimed to need my help, so unfortunately @Bassbob is also out of luck, being my so called “adopted Son”, on having me pass them on to him 😕. But who knows, I could always start over and build a new and better collection that may one day even include those precious Yeet Cannons you enjoy so much 🤔🙄 😂🤣.
