Mrs Greener and I have started watching The Bear series and Presumed Innocent series, remake of the Harrison Ford movie. Intriguing so far. The Bear is about struggles of a Chicago restaurant staffed by mentally unstable chefs screaming at one another. Not my usual cup of tea. Kind of reminds me of my days working the street...

Whenever I watch an old movie like that I go to IMDB and look up the Trivia section for that movie.

Apparently a whole bunch of the actors were POWs during WWII.

One of the Trivia entries that I read said that Donald Pleasence (who did an excellent job as Heinrich Himmler in The Eagle Has Landed) offered the director some tips on how to make the POW scenes more realistic. The director told him to stay in his Lane and then somebody told the director that Donald Pleasence had been a POW for about a year at the end of the war.

Just saw the new movie Twisters at the theater. Took my Wife, niece, nephew and his girlfriend. Pretty good movie. At least this time no one was on their phones ruining the movie.
