What's going on at Fort Bragg?

It’s interesting that we are being told that two men worked at the same army base at the same time and went and rented trucks separately from the same rental company and committed horrible acts on the same day within hours apart is a total coincidence?

And, add on top of that you are telling me that a man who tried to take out presidential candidate Trump at his golf course just a few months ago visited that same exact army base that these other two men worked at 147 times last year. I think it’s fair to ask what is going on at Fort Bragg. Really now, how much do you believe in coincidence?

The Military is rife with every walk of life. Crazy thru dedicated model citizen. It is a reflection of society and society has a lot of nut jobs.

Military prisons are as crowded as civilian. Its not like the military or Law enforcement is 100% the high life of society. No job is.
The military is a job. It has bad apples

People want to try to make some sort of connection to something, anything, to make sense of this. Fort Bragg, like almost any other duty station, has thousands of people of all walks of life. You have both active duty, retired, reserve and civilians on these bases. Sure, they both were at Bragg at one time. Not at the same time, and never met. Reality is this:

He suffered from PTSD. He had mental and emotional issues. He didn't get the help he needed, and chose this way to deal with it. My heart and prayers go out to his family. At least he was man enough to make sure nobody got injured from what he did.

Yes, there are some "similarities" with Vegas and Nawlins. Yes, they both rented an EV. Yes, they both were in the Army. Yes, they were both at Fort Bragg at one time. This is where the similarities end. One chose evil, the other just gave up on life.

From what I am reading (just this morning) they weren't at Fort Liberty at the same time.
However, there is NO way that these events aren't related somehow.

There is a common person or group somewhere that both of these men had contact with that is the connection.

If you hear footprints, think horses, not zebras.

Army bases are HUGE! Or at least to someone that grew up and still lives in a town of about 700. When I was in, I didn't know a tiny fraction of the soldiers stationed on the bases where I was. Everyone wants to connect the dots, and you can if you look hard enough. They were both at Fort Bragg at one time. Okay, David Berkowitz and I were once stationed at the same unit (years apart), also had a few beers with a 1st sgt. and offered him a ride up to the NCO club when we parted. Boy am I glad he refused no matter how much I pressed him into letting me give him a ride and not taking a taxi. He walked in and shot his wife and her lover.
There are a bunch of coincident and the more the Gov. tells me there is nothing there the more I suspect otherwise, still I'm not jumping on the tinfoil hat band wagon just yet but got my hat in hand and ready to ride.

The Vegas guy wasn't trying to hurt other people. If he had been trying to hurt other people I promise you he had forgotten more ways to hurt a lot of people than any of us could even imagine.
That does make some sense. But then why did he shoot himself in the head before the bomb detonated.

if was just about suicide, he could have shot himself anywhere and not had a bomb in public.

We don't know that it was a bomb first of all. And we don't know how/why it detonated. And if it was a bomb and his plan was to blow himself up, maybe he wanted to make sure he was dead instantly instead of just missing various body parts and suffering through the last 30 seconds of life. It's no secret the Cybertruck is "Armored". If he was trying to kill other people he probably would have used a normal vehicle and he probably would have parked it somewhere a lot of people were. Which he didn't.

Police officials released sections of Livelsberger’s "manifesto," and said they would release the full document later.

"This was not a terrorist attack, it was a wake up call" Livelsberger wrote, according to the cropped notes shared by Las Vegas police. "Americans only pay attention to spectacles and violence. What better way to get my point across than a stunt with fireworks and explosives?

"Why did I personally do it now? I needed to cleanse my mind of the brothers I've lost and relieve myself of the burden of the lives I took," he wrote.

"We are the United States of America, the best country people to ever exist! But right now we are terminally ill and headed towards collapse."

i read he was with SOC in germany, if true ...he surely knew a better way to make a statement and NOT DIE
i also read he was missing for 3 or 4 days and he and his wife were having issues
but again.....lots of weird factors,
biggest issue is FBI...they will hinder, hid, etc and it will be like another las vegas shooting years ago.....

And if you haven’t had your fill of Tim Kennedy….YUp he magically appeared to have yet another connection!!!!!!

You remember that trivia game 7 degrees of separations from Kevin Bacon???? Well ole Tim seems to be trying to be the firearms industry version!!!!! Hopefully he goes under a rock soon!

I saw some reports about how he had suffered a TBI (traumatic brain injury) while on active duty. A TBI can lead to many other problems, including PTSD. While I do not have PTSD, I have had a severe TBI. And almost 20 years later, I still have issues with it. I'm not excusing what he did, but I do think there are other issues involved that are not tin foil hat conspiracy related.

As some said above, the military is a cross section of our country and people have a lot of reasons for enlisting; some noble, some self-serving, and some ugly. From my time in the USMC, there were some truly awful people running around, and a surprising number of people of questionable mental capability such that I was surprised they were entrusted with a plastic spork, let a lone a M-16. Not all of them are heroes. Some are. Some are true villains. Some are just there making the Major's coffee.

As Clint Smith once said “you have Priests that rape kids so your gonna have a bad cop now and then” and Solider, saloon, Airman etc etc
