What’s in your B.O.B?

Sounds more like we are talking about a go-bag, not a bug out bag. A go-bag is designed to get you home a bug out bag is for leaving with the minimal gear to survive and never coming back. I work 40 miles from home so my Go bag has what I will need to get me home from work in including three days worth of MREs and water, IFAK, change of clothes including 3 pairs of socks, a Ruger security 9 and Ruger PC Carbine in 9mm which uses the same mags as the security 9. I carry a Benchmade pagan OTF knife always. Waterproof matches and a lighter, paracord, small tarp, rain poncho. The reason I have 3 days worth of food is I will have to avoid some areas on the way home as they are dangerous areas in the best of times. Same reason I have the weapons. I also have a 2 meter handheld ham radio fully charged and am a licensed Amateur radio operator. other normal gear like compass, life straw etc. I keep duty boots and some tactical clothing in my truck and seasonal items also. all of this fits in a Tactical day pack I have, Bug out bag is much more intense.
The security 9 and PC Carbine is a great combo! I have the PC Carbine but I keep a few 33 round Glock mags with mine.

I thought you were referencing what to pack for @Annihilator 🤣🤣🤣

I think you hit the nail on the head with your post. No guns in any bag here unless it's locked up. All of the non-firearm essentials would be good though.
Not all Americans are free in their home state and you don't need to sacrifice being ready because a gun isn't available at all times.

Just like the other contents of the bag a gun is another helpful tool but it's not the only tool needed to survive.
