When Should Hellcat Springs be Replaced?

I think I read somewhere that SA recommends replacing springs at 2,500 rounds. Is this accurate? I already have over 5,000 rounds through mine and it is still functioning flawlessly. BTW: I did not clean it until over 1,000 rounds and just before it became an actual carry gun.

On my guns, I usually go around 3,000-5,000 rounds, on the Hellcat I don’t know, I would get ahold of Xdman or Mike H. that’s on here and ask them, or email Springfield’s CS and ask them, on my S&W Shield in 9mm, it has the double recoil assembly and S&W told me around 5,000 rounds on it.

I do remember reading that during the 10,000 round test article they changed the recoil spring every 2,500 rounds.

It is recommended by Springfield to replace the duel recoil spring at 2500 rounds. This has been stated in both the 10k torture test and the follow up 20k torture test. That being said if its not broke don't fix it this is my opinion. i also have around 5k rounds in mine and still have original spring as well. but yes Springfield's recommendation is 2500 rounds.
