Which red dots install on the XDM elite 4.5 inch 9 mm Without requiring modification of the slide?

My first choice would be the holoson 507KX2.

Call Springfield and ask to avoid frustration, they will also provide you with a mounting plate (free) if the red dot you choose will fit. I put the Holosun 507CX2 on my Elite 10mm compact, fit perfect runs flawlessly.

Can you cowitness with the 507CX2?

No and it doesn’t concern me at all, if I was concerned about not seeing the iron sights through the optic I wouldn’t have put an optic on the gun.
