Which Springfield Armory 1911 would you choose for Concealed Carry?

I agree. The .40 S&W is an extremely powerful handgun cartridge.

Yep, I like it for the extra power it gives you, 9mm is a great caliber, but sometimes you just need a little extra.

Most of my guns are in .40 or .45 ACP, now I'm forced to buy 9mm, all they make or have lately, maybe LEs will go back to the .40 so they don't have to shoot a suspect seven times.

If I went back to a 1911, it would be a Ronin 4.25. The aluminum frame cuts down on the weight. Besides, it is one great looking pistol.

Agreed. I think the Ronin is one of best looking 1911 style handguns I've seen in a long time. I'd love to have one in .45ACP.

It would be my BBQ gun, not for carry. I would outfit it with a quality leather OWB holster, so I could show it off.

Well I only own one Springfield Armory 1911 so that would be my choice Model 1911-A1 Cal.45 Auto.
