Exactly, you were just flying it around, and a herd of deer looked up and started to follow it , that explanation should work, don’t you think? But seriously, I agree, if just flying it with no firearms or hunting gear, I don’t see how spotting wildlife with it would be illegal. But I’m not a hunter, so what would I know.

Same here, I see no issue. However, all it would take is one cranky hunter and your drone has a hole in it.

As stated earlier you can go from mild to wild, from price to what they or you want them to do. My company just got some that will do some absolutely amazing stuff. In some extreme winds they will just flip sideways and hold steady. The images they can take from 450+ft is remarkable. You will never see them but they will see you. Fast!! Super Fast!! They have come along ways from when they first came around.
