Why You Cant Carry

I'm curious if I am the only guy that has problems with kydex rubbing the finish off of my fine firearms? After ruining a high dollar Kimber and XDM, it is leather only for me!!
I'm currently on the lookout for leather for my XDM and XDE with OSP!! I welcome any suggestions...
 
All my holsters (a box of them) are FBI can't. I have a short waist and haven't found an IWB holster that is anywhere near comfortable. I'm a female and have learned to overcome the elbow poking out on the draw thing as well as covering my 1911 Commander sized EDC pistol with a light jacket or loose shirt. I've also found that a pocket holster in my back jeans pocket with a revolver works quite well when circumstances dictate.
