Will this barrel fit this handgun? I emailed Springfield. Haven't heard back from them after a few days. It says the barrel is for the full size gun. I wasn't sure if it fits the compact model. Thanks. BTW I love this gun. The recoil is the same as my Glock 21. The only thing I don't like is the grip texture. A little hockey tape fixes that.

i think its only for the 4 inch barrels
3.8 is not 4?
i ran into that the other day looking for barrels
they can tell you 100% based on serial number
but i would call them, emails are to slow
they answer pretty quick
