That’s what I figured. I’m not that good at figuring out knife angles but I’ve done alright doing my Benchmades at 20 and Microtechs at 17.

I'm looking forward to trying it. It's nice having the extra plates for honing.

Also replacement plates for the guided sharpener are no longer available since it's been "Retired" so eventually I was going to have to get something else anyway.

I seem to remember someone saying people don't appreciate the value of a good sharp knife.

I'm watching The Ultimate Cowboy Showdown and one of the competitors just roped a steer and it jerked his horse off its feet.

The horse was still tied to the steer.

I saw that and I remembered what that poster said about appreciating the value of a good knife.
