XD-S Mod.2 original and OSP part compatibility?

An overloaded round went off in my XD-S Mod.2 today.

I'm not injured, but now the gun won't fire and the slide lock seems to be rubbing on the frame.

I have an XD-S Mod.2 "OSP" model as well, but I prefer the styling of the old model better.

Might the OSP's striker, slide lock, and perhaps other parts be compatible with my older model while I wait for replacements to arrive?

Update: The slide lock's spring was jammed between it and the frame. I moved the spring back into place and that part is now working as it should.

I compared the two models' strikers and they looked the same to me from what I could tell, and I didn't see any obvious damage, but there is a lot of soot on the older one. Perhaps a good cleaning will help.

Also, I'm not sure where their "extractor spring retainers" flew off to when I removed the "striker locking plates" from the slides. Is it okay to fire them without those since the striker locking plates cover half of their holes?

Update 2:

I found one of the extractor spring retainers and reassembled the non-OSP Mod.2. I put a small piece of masking tape on the back of a snap cap and the striker is indenting the tape, so I assume that one's working again.

I've decided not to fire the other one until I can source another extractor spring retainer, since I don't want that spring to lodge itself in my eye.

However, I'm not seeing replacement parts on Springfield's website. Do they take orders for them over the phone?

The parts really depend on what they have available. I’ve gotten springs after calling CS and also denied springs because they only had new mfg stock. I’d just give them a call, they’re usually pretty helpful regardless.
