I have the XD9 Mod.2 Subcompact. I'm pretty sure it has a 3" barrel. Does anyone know if I can slap in the 3.8" threaded barrel for the Hellcat to put on the compensator?

Well...beans. Hopefully they make one for the entire XD line, given the apparent popularity of the threaded barrel.

I don't think Springfield cares too much about the original XD line outside of being a budget option that they're not going to sink money into IMHO. The XD Mod2 line has been abruptly discontinued.. Springfield had threaded barrels for the 4" XD Mod 2, but they most likely wouldn't sell you any spare parts like that even if they had a football field warehouse size full.
Try Glock, S&W M&P, Sig, and most other manufacturer manufacturers instead.
