XDM 10mm Gen 1 slide on Gen 2 frame

Will an XDM 10 OSP Gen 1 slide work on an XDM Gen 2 frame? I like my threaded barrel and raised sights and my slides engraved but I like the new frame look.

Then the only problem I see is the ambidextrous slide stop on the elite. The XDm is left side only.

The XDM 10 OSP was discontinued and then XDM 10 was brought back as the XDM Elite. So yeah, I guess the Elite would be Gen 2.

XDM 10 was discontinued for a year and brought back. So the new model would be Gen 2 or Elite if that's easier for you. The Elite FDE looks basically the same minus the threaded barrel and the frame.
