A few of us on here have the 10mm and it's smooth cycling!
That’s what I was thinking. Most 10mm ammo sold in stores are close to 40, & he could always go hotter if he reloads or buys from places like Buffalo Bore, Underwood or Double Tap.Why not get the 10mm version?
Because I already have the .40 and lots of .40 ammo. Plus I am super accurate with my .40. Honestly, I like it a lot.Why not get the 10mm version?
RandomHero, I believe Talyn was replying to Don-n-Texas. That’s who I was replying to as well.Because I already have the .40 and lots of .40 ammo. Plus I am super accurate with my .40. Honestly, I like it a lot.
If I go 10mm then I have to buy a new gun and thousands of 10mm rounds.
Oh snap! I'm an idiot.RandomHero, I believe Talyn was replying to Don-n-Texas. That’s who I was replying to as well.
No, I actually thought I was an idiot and went back to ensure that’s who Talyn was responding to, as I first assumed. When it looked like I was right, I then responded back to you.Oh snap! I'm an idiot.
My bad guys.
This is the way.Thank you to everyone. I think I’ll go with 45 ACP.
Good Choice I recommend theThank you to everyone. I think I’ll go with 45 ACP.
Nice I like all of the XD line of pistols from Springfield Armory! But that 5.25 " .40 caliber you have is good looking.View attachment 6779
I was glad to get my .40 XDm in the 5.25
And yes they stopped making the 5.25 in .40 Cal.
I think it worth it Don. Depending on what 10MM loads you use, you could have anywhere from a slightly hot 40, to 357 mag+ power. If you reload like some (I don't as of yet), you could potentially increase upon it's power or dial it back more. But, there nothing wrong with the 45, I have several firearms chambered in both the 45 and 10mm as I like the variety. Good luck with whatever choice you make.Well I was comparing 40 S&W and 45 ACP. Now I guess I’ll consider 10 MM
As you consider .40, 45, and 10mm, my advice is shoot all three before you make a purchase. You might be fond of one over the other based on recoil and your own personal accuracy. No point in having a gun you can't hit the broad side of a barn with. So I would recommend having a range day with all 3 so you could make an educated decision.Well I was comparing 40 S&W and 45 ACP. Do you like the 180-220 or 135-165gr.?I do reload I could work up multiple loads for 10 MM. I do it for my other caliber
