Holosun is quickly becoming my go to for red dots. I have a Vortex Venom that's nice, but no shake awake and I am now firmly in the camp of no shake awake is a deal breaker. I love the Holosun reticles, particularly on rifles and shotguns. On a carry pistol I would also look hard at the DPP. It's a tough bastard and that's what you want when the chips are down.
