Dear Diary, today was a good day, I think I will have another good day tomorrow.

Pre NRA was held at Waxahatchie Tx, where Primary Arms held a range day. I made sure to invite local Dallasinians…Dallisites….Dallians…oh heck Texans @SimonRL and @KillerFord1977 to come with. I was feeling generous and allowed them to be in my presence


This is how the day started

This is how it ended, thunder storms and monsoon rain. Weirdly no one else wanted to join in my wet t-shirt contest….by default I won.

The three of us spent some time visiting vendors, mostly me loading up on free swag.

I love to be the center of attention, and today was no different….I could have sworn I heard @SimonRL and @KillerFord1977 muttering “what an idiot” apparently the idiot was a ninja, because I never saw him….weird.


At the B5 booth, I found irrefutable evidence that they stole my tattoo….I will be in contact with my lawyer…when I get one.

I made sure to check out the sight picture of the Night Fision 1/3 co-witness sight picture sights. I thought it was like looking through plastic. Unfortunately I was not able to snap a picture of the idiot both @SimonRL and @KillerFord1977 mentioned.

The guys at Syndicus Defense Corp beat some sense into me when I said AK’s can’t be tacticool.

Now I am all for teamwork, but @SimonRL
Did not have kick me when I was down.

Next up, that’s was a low blow foul, All I did was tell the Sons of Liberty Gun Works guys, my Hi-Point carbine was just as good.

over at Zenith they were very convincing in getting me to buy another roller locker gun

Apparently over at Wilson Combat they did not appreciate my condescending remarks about the 1911 being obsolete.

Even at OLight, they did not know that weapons mounted lights are not for civilians…I mean even famous fudds know.

Finally we ended at GCode holsters, Wow they do not share my belief in the superiority of Leather holsters. Look they even made me eat a kydex holster….kydex has literally no flavor compared to leather.

At the end of range day, I heard @SimonRL tell @KillerFord1977 that he was done hanging out with the idiot. @KillerFord1977 reminded him he felt sorry for him. I really wish they would have pointed out the looser soI could have made fun of him. I had a sick burn just waiting.

Then we were off to an impressive indoor range, like really impressive…they had everything and more.

Wow so did you know @SimonRL and @KillerFord1977 both work for the CIA? They told me so, thats why they didn’t want to be seen with me. For their safety I covered their faces.
