I've got 2 xds .45's and I've just recently become aware of the fact that they are possibly mod 1 I am not sure which they are I'm thinking from all the info I got they are mod 1. LOL, I was told by someone you could tell by the box they came in 1 being in the smaller squarish box with everything kinda crammed in and mod 2 with the bigger rectangular box. I bought my first for my wife back in 2015 or 16 and recently got one for myself. Nowhere on either does it say mod2 and the grips are the square cut ones, not the smoother types So which do
I have and can you explain why or have I already done so?

Yes, they do have that

Plus Mod 2’s will have that tiny hole with a pin in the grip safety, Mod 1’s won’t unless the gun was sent back to Springfield for the recall they had on the Mod 1

Never have to many mags ! Lol every time I see a good buy on mags I get extra for any model I have
