Yippie

What gets me, she knew it was illegal to take and use that over in Russia, but she chose to do it anyway, figuring she was a basketball player, gender and race would be enough for them to give her a pass, it didn’t, like I have said many times here, this current administration is worthless and weak, don’t get me wrong, I’m glad she is ok and did get to get released, but it was the way and how it was done.

I don't know why the U.S. hasn't banned travel to Russia. Any American that goes there is a target for polical manipulation. We should not be doing any business with Russia and should impound any Russian assets in this country.
We should deny them at every turn and penalize all companies that continue to do business there. I'd go as far as to kick them out of the UN and show all of their diplomats the door. But the saddest thing here is it seems that a basketball celebrity is worth more than a former Marine. A good day for Brittney, but a another sad day for America! My heart aches for Paul Whelan and his family.

….bet on more than just an arms dealer was offered up in The Deal. Laughing stock of the world, I would think as a good faith gesture Poo-teen would throw in a couple goats and a fifth of wodka with that swap, at least the goats are useful and beneficial and the booze worthwhile company.
Now we know who got the better end of deal.

Oh, also count on some lip service from the tradee along with further denouncing the USA.

What an ugly look that gives us too. Doesn't help the arrogant American stereotype. Looks like we think we can just go into other countries, break their laws and get bailed out free of charge. Making us look dumb and weak.
That stereotype is pretty much correct. The amount of people who pulled the “I’m an American citizen” card when they run into problems abroad is amazing. If there is an opposite of a get out of jail free card, that is it.

Yahoo.. yeah right. Free a terrorist for a self admitted drug smuggler, yeah that works...
So…on the admission.

Realize that her lawyer was almost certainly a stooge for the Russian administration…

“If you admit to smuggling, they’ll probably let you go with a slap on the wrist…”

I’m not a fan of BG (never even heard if her before her arrest), but I look SERIOUSLY askance at anything coming out of Putin’s regime.

There was a wnba team statement I heard just on local radio news that went sort of …”it shows the power of the wnba”.
The takeaway I got was that the teammate spokesman emphasized it was the organization that made this trade possible. The news audio clip didn’t give full context of the statement so no mention of the Deal the WH Pudding Pop factory managed thru diplomacy. The WH Pudding Pop Pest Secretary also made references of the vital importance the pothead was, “The choice was bring Brittney home or no one,” Karine Jean-Pierre said.

And again just like that, Joey leaves another American serviceman behind. All the pols are gleaming with praise….for a kneeling pothead that routinely plays off season for a Russia team.

That's a definite possibilty.
