Your gun inventory and future plans

Oh I've heard of and seen video of Hellahog'n!!! How much dose that cost? If it's somewhat reasonable? Give me my M1A, my buddies Benelli M4 (only because I don't have one "YET") and I'm there! Might take a year or two to get down there, do to work schedule depending and hunting season up here. BUT SOME DAY! I'M GO'N HELLAHOG'N!!! 😂😂😂
Usually $1200+ for 1 hr per person. Sometimes more
Its not cheap.

Cheaper to use a guide and go out at night

I'll disincline on the later.

I'll disincline on the Later. Hellahog'n sounds and looks much more appealing and entertaining! Ok 1200 an hour. Now honestly, wut kind of damage on an "average" day of Hellahog'n? Let's say three or four hours in the air. Can a couple shooters do? On average!

Nice try, AFT...

I think my gun buying is a response to being poor and deprived when young. At the moment, I'm tempted by a LCP Max that's on sale. A few weeks ago I told myself it wasn't necessary since I bought several micro 9's that were on sale and I already have a 911 in .380.
I didn't have a .22 for many years because reloaded .38's were dirt cheap. Since primers have gotten so expensive, I did buy a pair of Wranglers and a Henry saying I could use them in CAS if the primer drought got too serious.
I guess I'll procrastinate a while until the itch gets too strong to overcome.
At the moment, my 911 is my only real micro. My BBR 3.10 1911 is compact but not a micro by any means. It’s twice as thick as my other 1911s due to that double stack 45 magwell. It’s a tank. I’m happy with that 911 though.

I have enough guns to cover any need I may ever have. (At 71, I am pretty sure I know what that is). The ammo shortages we have seen over the last decade or so have taught me to be careful about the guns that I buy. I may want the latest whizz bang boomer 33.95 x 81 but where is the ammo for it? I mostly punch holes in paper and carry concealed so a good supply of 22lr, 17HMR, 9mm, 45acp, 223, and 25-06 pretty well cover my needs. I reload for all of the centerfire rounds so keeping a reasonable stockpile of bullets, brass, powder, and primers on hand is a constant concern. Right now I have an adequate supply to meet my needs. Over time various items will become available and I replenish my supply shelves. Maybe rimfire will show up and I will pick up a few bricks. Maybe a good deal on brass comes along and I will grab some. While I have enough primers for the moment, when primers become available again, I will stock up. The idea is not to be hoarding but have enough to get through the shortages. I enjoy my range time, maintain skill with my carry gun, and enjoy researching new handloading recipes. For me, just being able to shoot is a blessing.

For all of you who plan on going kayak hunting (and Minnesota is the prime destination for this), be sure to check your COMPLETE inventory and have your claims paperwork ready!

I know this os massively off topic but this actually happened to my father once.

He took his little Bakers are out in the Gulf and when he was done for the day he forgot to close a drain valve in the toilet system.

Came down to check on his boat the next day and it was under water at the dock

Bummer!!! Sorry to hear that! I hope he could salvage it at least!
