Southern Illinois ( don't hold it against me please ) here. We have had a few dustings of snow but gone the next day. Two mini freezing rain events and that is it other than plain old rain.

Northwestern Kentucky currently 41º, breezy, and raining off & on a lot lately. Better than snow or ice.

To be walking on a Cape Cod beach with the wife at the end of January in the mid 50's is crazy. It should be mid to lower 30's around here.

Piedmont of South Carolina. had some low 20's now it's 40's at midnight.
Over the next week were are expecting mind 50's tapering up to the high 60's.
Pretty much grill out all winter (if that's what you can call it) long.
I enjoy any weather that doesn't involve a shovel........

Concur on that. I strongly dislike winter. Had 22" of snow 3 winters ago (counting this one) as I recall, and a neighbor across the street brought his snowblower over and cleared our long driveway. I bought one the following year, and did our driveway and 3 neighbor's driveways 2x each. It's in the shed gassed-up and ready........just in case.
