Daughter and I had some nice quality range time. She got to work with some SWAT instructors for some tips.

His lever guns were like suppressed rifles compared to all the other unsuppressed AR’s going off
In fact, the .357 had a completely different sound when it hit the steel than the ARs and I had to tune it in. I thought I was missing.
on a somewhat still day it's easy for a 9 @ 100yds without slowing your shots. try mag dump as it sounds crazy when it hits steel that far out.
I was shooting with a green dot and it felt like it was dancing all over the place and it was really hard to concentrate with all the ARs banging away. I’d like to have another go when it’s a bit quieter.

pressure under fire..................................tis the reason to have a range all to yourself as you don't have @KillerFord1977 snap chatting behind you:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

1 reason I don't like dots on pistol when shooting over 50 yards, unless it's a large caliber. 50ae is sighted (from factory) for 100 yards (well, the 1 I have is). makes those shots fast and easy as can be.

Proud like a peacock KF1977 says. IT shows too. But Killer, why in the world is that young lady shooting the hand gun right handed and the long gun left handed? It looks from here like she's right eye dominant too from the way she's holding that long gun, and her stance when holding the hand gun.

Over many years of instructing, I had much better luck convincing the shooter/student to overcome their preferred stance/hold, and hold/stance according to the dominant eye. That wasn't always the case, but more often than not.

Glad you had some good dad time on the range with your favorite student shooter.
