My choice in a mimitary rifke design, The M1 Carbine

Not a bad article on my personal choice in military small arms design. One thing , the article is a tad deceiving and makes almost makes it sound as if the paratrooper wire stock is the real original stock design, or sounded that way to me perhaps.

I shoulda bought one 5 years ago. They are now starting at $2k...at least for an old vintage one. They still make them new (forget whose making...US Arms?)
