So, I also did my FIRST EVER return to Brownells yesterday. I found complete C7 uppers for just a little more than I paid for this so, I'm only out the original shipping cost (Brownells covers the return shipping), and sales tax. The hardest part was waiting for the Post Office to open...

Just ordered a complete (less barrel and such) C7 upper to replace the M4 upper on the newest mid length acquisition

Depends on your definition of "Old". Today my carry was an SA-35, until today it was a Commander length 1911. Defining old would also make the AR OLD, especially since in recent years it seems like everything old, is new again......

The "ORIGINAL " Colt carbine build is coming along. Lower is a PSA H&R partial fence, blemish, in gray. Got a few more parts to add, and a castle nut to torque, but completion is within sight.

No surprise there, they, and the Bureau have been rogue for more years than I can remember. They also took vehicle registrations of gun show attendees, ran them, then sent agents to see what those people bought, all with no reasonable suspicion, or probable cause. Like I said, no surprise.....
