Welcome. Lots of good folks here. Congrats on the pistol, I’ve read lots of great reviews and the one I shot did great. Buy what you can. It may not shoot accurate but if it functions, run it.
I think it’s neat, probably not something I’d get. I would like to have the option to have sights with a red dot. I wouldn’t mind it on a range or home gun.
I’m an advocate of them. Buy a quality red dot, one where you can change the battery on top. If it says it’s good for 5 years change it on the range at 3 years. Buy some quality back up suppressor sights whether it is fiber optic or tritium. Between the two you shouldn’t have any issues.
I started out shooting Mil, it’s what I was trained on. I transitioned to MOA and I much prefer it. MOA and Mil are angular measurements and not linear math as in Mil=metric. You could get a MOA scope with Mil reticle. I like BDC reticle for my hunting rifles.
