Thanks. Fired about 75 rounds the plate to slide screws stayed tight but screws to mount SRO onto the plate both came loose. Springfield recommended 12 inch pounds, cleaned the screws applied loctite torqued them to 15 inch pounds. I had a shift in point of impact thought it was just me...
Got a little good news this morning. My wife has her 2nd round of chemo today but the infusion scheduled for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving has been moved to the following week. She enjoys cooking a large meal for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Unfortunately while cleaning SA 1911 & S&W M&P, found the Trijicon SRO on the 1911 was loose. Took the screws out, cleaned them applied loctite torqued them to 15 inch pounds. Hopefully they don't come loose again. Kinda ticks me off.
Just returned from the range. Shot SA 1911 AOS Operator 45acp w/SRO & S&W M&P 2.0 9mm Compact w/Holosun EPS. Both targets shot at 15 yards 2-3 seconds between shots. Not great but ok for an old fart.
It's been over forty years since I came up with that load. Never carried it as an LEO or civilian. Was just experimenting with different bullets. My testing showed major expansion shooting into water jugs and soaked newspaper and magazines. Was not scientific but still was an indicator.
