Seems like every Well I stand corrected. I've never heard of it and I'll guarantee you that most others never heard of the round until FN introduced their (expensive) offering a few years back. At that point, many started jumping on the bandwagon.

I'm saying these new latest and greatest calibers (fads) are mostly gimmicks to sell more guns and to solve problems that don't really exist. They aren't going to stand the test of time just like many of the old flavors of the month before them IMHO.

I am unfazed by these new calibers that get released as a way to get people to spend more money on a new gun. They are solutions to problems no one knew they had prior to their introduction.
