    Hellcat primer drag?

I did try to do it via email. Several times my emails got back a response that were filtered as spam. I have sent another email today... Fingers crossed.

    Hellcat primer drag?

The P365 had strikers break because of that. So I am not really happy that I see this on Hellcat too. I think that Sig put a stronger return spring in their new strikers and also beveled the pin differently. My Hellcat striker "jiggles" inside of I shake the removed slide, not sure if that...

    New Acquisitions Part Two

I just got the Sig P365XT Romero yesterday. The "ouch" in my wallet was real, but is so nice to have this piece! This was from Bass Pro Shops and they sold me two cases of ammo with it, to sweeten the deal. They only charge $18.99 for 50 rounds of target ammo. That was a nice change from the...

    Hellcat trigger debacle

That's the issue. You can't be EVER sure of that, unless you train having have some other dude shooting live ammo at you. I don't care what you think about range training, when adrenaline is pumping you cannot be 100% sure about that "muscle memory". That blade is only to protect against drops...

    7 Top Double-Stack 9mm Pistols For Concealed Carry (2021)

I was looking for concealed carry. And the above list is titled the same. To me it didn't fell like something I could easily carry and especially draw from a holster without snagging.

    7 Top Double-Stack 9mm Pistols For Concealed Carry (2021)

I was excited about it when I saw the reviews. Until I had one in my hand. I could not get past that thick slide... Maybe I am partial because I own a Hellcat.

    Hellcat trigger debacle

The metallic blade might not bind the same way, because is more rigid and can "slip" easier. Don't know tough I don't have one, don't need it with the new trigger. However Apex seem to have changed it too, that pic is from midwestgunworks site... Maybe you can get them to send you a replacement?

    Hot Ammo

"MILSPEC" is not "NATO" necessarily. MILSPEC M882 (since around 1984) is "NATO": https://www.thehighroad.org/index.php?threads/9mm-military-ammo-specifications.141373/ A 9mm NATO round would be like a 9mm +P round in terms of pressure. 9mm NATO is’s definitely snappier because it’s designed to...

    Hellcat trigger debacle

That's probably the easiest way to solve this. Metal will not bind as easy under pressure (doesn't deform) and especially now that the aftermarket copied the new angle, it's even better. Too bad that SA doesn't sell spare parts.

    Hellcat rated +P?

Yep, that's what I was looking for. For example in the Ruger MAX-9 manual it is stated that +P will reduce the life of the gun and bold "do not use +P+". I didn't see anything like that in Hellcat's manual, so I was curious.

    Hellcat rated +P?

I read my Hellcat manual and I didn't see a mention of +P loads. So... I assume that means that this is rated only for normal P loads?

    New S&W Shield Plus 13+1

Because nobody really complained about it, only a few Hellcat haters. I just tested the new S&W Shield Plus at my LGS an hour ago and it has the exact same trigger issues like the first gen Hellcat. No surprise, since the shape of that safety blade is identical with Gen 1 Hellcat trigger, with...

    New S&W Shield Plus 13+1

Actually the newer Hellcat (2021) have a revised trigger and it doesn't bind anymore - I have one. Looking at the pictures for the new Shield, the trigger safety is exactly the shape of the first Hellcat trigger safety (sharp angle), so chances are that it will bind the same way.

    Taurus G3C 9mm FTF issue

A weaker recoil spring doesn't give enough "umpf" to the slightly bigger rounds (more friction) during the return. Oiling lowers the general friction that fights against the return, that's why helps. Running rounds trough and cleaning the barrel helps honing those surfaces by bullet friction...
