    Shoulder holster please

I thought about that because I do like their products and it's kinda middle of the road price wise.

    Shoulder holster please

I never took up golf but if we could play by these rules I might tag along for a round!

    Shoulder holster please

Thank you all for your help. I believe that I will try something less expensive as suggested to see if I like the option. I already have a box of holsters that hang out in the back of the gun closet for various reasons. There is no need to add an expensive friend for them to hang out with.

gun transfers between family members who live out of your state

I am glad I live in the south and I'm sorry you are having to endure the hoops you are having to jump through to do the right thing 223kid.

We used to do that with a .22 when we were kids but I haven't tried it in years. Sounds like a good excuse to make another trip to the range!

    Your favorite type of rifle...

I have always leaned toward lever action but the others have advantages as well. I never cared for the function of a bolt action until I bought my Tikka. The action on it is butter smooth and the trigger matches. It has become one of my favorite rifles.

    Shoulder holster please

So I am looking to get into a shoulder rig for certain situations but haven't had any experience with one in the past. I would like those of you that have to share some suggestions as to what to look for and what to avoid. Thanks in advance!

    Your favorite Springfield

I guess I would have to claim my XDS-45 as my favorite because it has been so reliable. The Hellcat may overtake it though. The more I carry/shoot it the more I like it.

I pocket carry at church (slacks have rather open easy to clear openings). I was using the ankle rig because I am seated more than standing but it is way too deliberate a motion to not be noticed when standing. All that said I am interested in a shoulder rig, do you have any particular suggestions?

    Self Defense & Combat Arts

I started running last year (forced due to health reasons) and realized pretty quick that it helps me in almost every aspect of life. I would list sleeping as an exception to that, as I get less now, but it is better sleep. It has helped so much that I have started to mix in weight training on...

    Going the distance!

I keep it inside 25 yards for the most part. I will occasionally stretch to 50 or 100 just to keep in mind of where to hold at that distance if I had to. My hope is if I'm that far away I can find some avenue of escape unless others are in eminent danger.

    Virginia update

Well said sir. Our founding fathers were intelligent men who looked at the mistakes of the past and tried to implement safeties to keep them from reoccurring. They did their best to ensure that no one belief system could take over the others religious or otherwise. What we are now seeing is that...

Read any good books lately...besides reloading manuals?

I miss the days of switches and relays, now it's control boards and DC pulse communicating signals. It's just like the cars, they only want their technician to be able to work on it. Job security 👍

Read any good books lately...besides reloading manuals?

Just the Bible friend, unless you consider unit service manuals good reading. Seems to be all I have time for since no one I work with can manage to read. If you want to lead you have to read.

    Self defense ammunition.

I usually make two range trips with anything new I want to carry before doing so. Two hundred rounds of ball followed by fifty of defense ammo, a trip home for cleaning, and a thorough inspection. Repeat for the second trip and good enough for me.

    Hand gun preference

I try to stick with one carry gun for familiarity and for the many reasons stated above stick with the autos. I do carry a S&W 640 pro in an ankle rig as a BUG at times. Good night sights, enough heft to handle magnum loads, and carries like a dream in the Desantis Apache.

    Sighting for my BO

I have two daughters that are right handed and left eye dominant. One can manage to shoot left handed, the other not so much. I have a couple of rifles with optics mounted higher than I would prefer to help her not kiss the stock/ buffer while leaning across.

    How good are your eyes

Sorry papa, no hand cannons today. I had the younger two with me and they are not too far removed from the BB gun. Although that DB 9 in the lower left is like the noisy cricket from the MIB movie if you shoot +p.
