I still have my Gen 3 G23 and its G27 little brother. I bought them for my second agency, after my 1st retirement. They were my introduction to .40 and to Glock. Now? No optics. No carry.

It's the rail, not the light. The rail is riveted on.

Carried both for duty. If nothing goes wrong then both are great. If you are picking one up and want to do anything.... like night sights, a trigger upgrade or similar then get a Glock. I say this because the rear sight on an M&P holds parts in place(?) while the Glock's cheap plastic just...

It's a big screw. A big screw with blue loctite. ;) Do I trust it. Not yet; time will tell.

Oh no, it's ugly.... No argument; it's teal. Also I no worry about it losing zero due to movement or similar. This pistol has a screw for the factory rear sight. It's screwed onto to the slide as well as in a "Novak" style notch.

Just to keep this thread hijacked from the original topic. I was a 60 gunner in the Air Force.... Usually the AG actually. They're great when pintle mounted on a hummer or in a DFP but get kinda heavy when you are patrolling on foot.
