I have a Springfield Saint pistol with a 9.6" barrel. This is my first AR 15. What would the average cost to put in a free float rail? Right now it has a polymer drop in handguard.
That you for the replies. I was reading on the Springfield website about that adjustment and I thought it pertained the Edge series. I will check that out. As far as ammo goes, It has Jammed up with Winchester 556 and Aguila 556. Ill try some others, if I can find any.
I purchased a Springfield saint 9.6 barrel AR 15 pistol a few months ago. I like it a lot. But the last time I shot it at the range it jammed up several times. I was using Winchester 556 ammo. I clean it after every time I go to range. The one thing I did before I went to the range this time is...
Is there any benefit between the 2 endplates pictured? When the gun is hanging with a single point sling, would it be better that the QD is on the side vs the back?
I would like to keep that area open for my hand, being it's not that big. I was hoping something could go in front of handguard.
"Being a pistol the shortcomings of a single point sling probably will be mitigated somewhat."
Would a single point be legal?
Grifter, Both are good choices. Although I like the 2nd one better. There's not much space on my handguard, unless there's a way to connect in front of it.
Can I put a QD End Plate on it? For a 1 point sling? It looks like there is one there, but there is no hole to attach a sling to it. Do I remove this and replace with a QD End Plate? And being this is a pistol, would it be considered modifying?
I am new to the forum. Also a new Springfield Saint Ar 15 with a 9.6 barrel owner. I haven't had the chance to shoot it yet, but the question I have is where do I connect a 1 point or 2 point sling?
