What are you doing right now??

We had just paid off our car and the transfer case went out. $3800 later and I am the full owner, deed in-hand. Stupid cars.

Do you remember your first gaming pc you bought or built?

The first PC I ever paid for myself was a 233 Ghz Pentium in 1997.

What are you doing right now??

Same here. No more pokey-pokey for me. As for me, sitting on a conference call for work, halfway listening, waiting for my dad to wake up so I can make him breakfast. Sounds creepy, but I have to keep an eye on him with a camera while he sleeps because he has Alzheimer's and stays in my house...

Never Been Unhappy About a New Gun....Until Now

My parents are aging rapidly. Mom's in a rehab center from a fall and Dad has Alzheimer's, so we are moving them into a small apartment at my sister's house. Hard to see parents get so old they can't take care of themselves. As we clean out their home and hold yard sales and get the house ready...

What Discontinued Firearm Would You Like To See Comeback?

I was gonna add the Colt Delta Elite (10mm) to this list, but apparently you can buy them from the Colt website for about $1200.

    oh the aching irony..??

I honestly don't give a rat's patootie about the loss of employment in the government realm. They are WAY bloated and the only way to save the economy is through massive governmental layoffs in order to alleviate the tax burden on citizens and pay down the $37 trillion deficit. I. Don't. Care...

What Discontinued Firearm Would You Like To See Comeback?

I have long coveted the Grizzly Win mag. The original manufacturer, LAR, is a stone's throw from my house. That would make an OUTSTANDING addition to the collection!

What Discontinued Firearm Would You Like To See Comeback?

The biggest weirdo gun ever made, that I can't stand. I'd buy it just to have a lone "freak" in the gun safe. Wildey AutoMag.

    Guns - Level of Importance

In the grand scheme of things, there are many things that occupy my thoughts. Mostly thoughts of God and my Savior, but my wife is a close 2nd to that. Family as well. Beyond that, what place do guns and gun-related stuff take in your mind? For me, it's gotta be 3rd or 4th on my list. I wear a...

Carry Gun Rotation: Good or Bad?

I rotate 2 pistols - an XDS in 9mm and a Glock 29. I regularly drill drawing from both holsters to ensure nothing weird happens. Confident in both, however, I have a recurring nightmare where I draw my pistol and the bullet comes out at about 15 feet per second and hits the bad guy and just...

Range Antics So Shocking That I Don't Have The Words!

Duuuuude. What the.... I know that my EOD friend, who served multiple tours in Iraq, was forced to do this kind of training to simulate the ability to stay engaged in a fight when someone is firing near you, etc, but that lady needs to find a new boyfriend.

    Hornady love.

I used to receive their giant bullet chart every year. Love, love, love this company. They make a solid product and the quality is high-end. Wouldn't hesitate to use it anything - man or beast.

10mm Ammunition: 7 Things You Need to Know

As a young reloader just learning how all the ballistic charts worked, I was quite keen on the 10mm. It has always been a favorite of mine and I carry a Glock 29 to this day and use my own reloads for the range. So nice.

Glock vs Smith & Wesson: Which Is Better?

For semi-autos, I have owned and shot both brands many times and prefer Glock. I was NEVER a Glock man. Thought it was kind of a fad. Thought people were just too biased. Then I shot a Glock 29 and it was the most accurate target of my life. Couldn't believe the results. And Glock semi-autos...

Dangerous Vintage Toys of The Good Old Days

I looked at the dart in my shoulder, yanked it out, stood up, and said, "I'm going home." That was a deep pain. Seemed like it lasted a week. But I was 8 years old, so I can't really remember how long it lasted.

Dangerous Vintage Toys of The Good Old Days

We mixed lawn darts with smaller darts to "bomb" each other's forts. I looked away for a moment only to have a little dart sink deeply into my shoulder. Good times.
