Woke up early didn't realize the temperature but took the Sig 365 out for the first time run. 15 yards but raining and 19 degrees out. On a good note no one was at the range....

Back when wild poodles roamed the earth, at Ft, Lewis we used to say "if it aint raining we aint training". It's not what you can do on a perfect day, it's what you can do flat out exhausted, in the frizzing cold, blazing heat, dark, light, wind, rain and snow. On the other hand I'm getting old and don't have to practice being uncomfortable, it just comes naturally. ;)

been about 45(ish) today and some light rain.....in fact, nearly every day next week, it's gonna be somewhat rainy..

like Jesus H. Christ.......i think the past 1 to 2 year now, we had enough of this rain :poop:

i must be living in Seattle........damn...

Last night it was 40 degrees when we went to bed. Opened the windows to let in some fresh air. Temp. dropped to 7 and the window froze open. Nothing like using a heat gun to thaw out the windows so you can close em. Closest I've come to using a gun in a week. My shooting range, AKA the back porch looks like an ice rink.

Sounds nice. Moved 2 Charlotte 94-97 wish we could’ve stayed - stupid job w/ Carrier !! Nice weather, really nice people definitely a culture shock. Weird no one has basements just slabs. Great gun friendly place to live .. sigh. Someday .. someday.
Charlotte is a whole different world. Bluest part of the state. Get east of 95 and that’s a real culture shock.
This is an old video . If you make it down here you might find some folks with extra toes. lol

Closer to Tennessee, in a town called Gastonia, ne of Charlotte, the family trees do not have any forks or splits .. as in uncle/dad or aunt/mom or like that old Burt Reynolds movie Deliverance. Wish I was joking
