5.56 NATO Load Data.....

ok I am with you texas for life. must been updated a lot though as the 223/5.56 did not come out till the 50's
 
reading on amazon, there is a 1971 manual on there. trying to figure out which edition

well i am definitely confused. if the second was still being published in 1985. How can the fourth edition be in 45?
 
The good news is.... just kindle it right to your phone! that's how i do it anymore LOL
 
check this out Texas for life. This 1971 sierra manual states it is the first ever they produced. First couple sentences in first paragraph. mystery solved

Here's what I found out from Phil. Yes '71 was the 1st in a 2 set. The 1 I bought in '84 was a 2nd edition that was published in '78. The 3rd , not for sure I didn't find out. The 4th was in '95. The 1st was in limited calibers. The 5th was '03 or '06. I thought the 1 I bought in '84 was the 5th, but no! The 6th was '19. Even though it states as '47 was the beginning, it actually was '45 2 years before they manufactured bullets which was '47. The rest is history! This is as close as I can get or remember from 3 hours ago!

It was about load data! The Sierra data in question and about the changes in the manuals over the years. What in specific are you wanting and then I'll get back on no problem! My bad, sorry SMSgt!!!!:(:censored:
