5.56 NATO Load Data.....

Oh! I got it! Most are FMJs. Sierra 55fmj. Hornady 62fmj, Speer 75fmj and that 1 I'm working on. Noslerb-tip, Hornady 75hpbt and 62ss109/m??? are in the works! I haven't shot any yet, but the the FMJs where too start. All are in a data book. The 62m??? is in Western Powders under Tac powder section.

I guess, loosely translated, 5.56 NATO Load Data, means .223 or 264, or that's a real old loading manual or..............

I should have specified Load Data Only, No Chit Chat.... my bad.....

That would fall in the lines of an AR15 platform, but you are wanting 556 specificaly1 or?

5.56 NATO Load Data. Not .223 loads. There are tons of that available.
5.56 NATO is hotter. That's why you can shoot 223 in a 5.56 NATO barrel but dare not
shoot 5.56 NATO in a .223 barrel.
So, I was wondering if anyone is loading or has found loading data for the NATO.
Hope this helps
Thank you

I'm up for hotter ie nato also! I haven't started loading any 556 yet, but my previous post shows what I will be loading after enough brass gets prepped! Post #41

Oh! I did see the 223 that 223kid posted. I'm on board with the NATO data also! That's most of the information that I use, but some manufactures show only 223 like the N b-tip. I just hop it up for NATO pressures.

Found some 5.56 load data and using the same bullet and powder, the 5.56 used less
powder charge than the 223.....crazy....
