I'll definitely join when they start accepting memberships. I find that if you shoot a lot it is more economical.JOIN...you might get more privilege's over a ordinary user, see my posting above.

Maybe they'll offer priority lanes for members, so no one gets bumped.at the public range i go to, i am a member, right now my membership is good for 3 more years. however, one can just pay for 1 hours worth of range time.
and that is only $25, for one lane. so if they bring a guest, they still only get ONE lane..
members can "bump" an hourly person for a lane if it is crowded, and i think that's only right to do so. an hourly user, should never have a lane over a member.
What if there are more members there than lanes? Then what? Reservation or order of appearance will/could be 1st?Maybe they'll offer priority lanes for members, so no one gets bumped.
yes, after x amount of visits, all others will be "free" till the end of your membershipI'll definitely join when they start accepting memberships. I find that if you shoot a lot it is more economical.
not at my placeMaybe they'll offer priority lanes for members, so no one gets bumped.

And it will be much less expensive then joining a county club in order to play golf!I'll definitely join when they start accepting memberships. I find that if you shoot a lot it is more economical.
good luck with that self discipline.....Oops, I didn't think of that. I'll have to discipline myself to one visit per week.
right and from a former employer of mine, once you join a golf club, it does not end there, you were required to dine there at least once per month. among other things you were "required" to do.And it will be much less expensive then joining a county club in order to play golf!
That's why I used to tell my wife an indoor range membership was cheaper than playing golf.right and from a former employer of mine, once you join a golf club, it does not end there, you were required to dine there at least once per month. among other things you were "required" to do.
my range, just no armor piercing rnds, other than that, go fo it.My local indoor range has strict rules on ammo, no hollow points, no magnums and no 10mm, only fmc bullets, handguns only, no rifle caliber handguns either, my wife just got me a 3 month membership for Christmas, this will be nice this winter, I’ll be out of the cold and snow.
I don't know how it all works out, but bumping folks will be unpopular I'm sure. What if there are more members there than lanes? Then what? Reservation or order of appearance will/could be 1st?
Yeah can you imagine a non member hourly guy just setting up to shoot and then gets bumped by a member? Bad scenario.I don't know how it all works out, but bumping folks will be unpopular I'm sure.
I like the range I use because it's outside. Cold and rainy weather keeps the amateurs home. I went yesterday 19deg and i am by myself.I'd rather shoot in the cold.
What range? I went to The Range at Austin in September. That's a nice place but.....I would limit my visits.indoor range in Austin

Yeah that was very nice. Big lanes battery operated return motors. Lots of stuff for sale. Even had a fire controlled weed eater.WOW and I couldn't remember the name "The Range"View attachment 23996View attachment 23997View attachment 23999View attachment 23998
