Another EO by President Biden

No fanboy, just a well trained firearm user, maybe you should try it
do you really want to go there,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, that is just plain outright being ignorant and doing your best to bait me into an arguement,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, we are done and from this point on I have no time for you

You started this by calling me a Glocker, I just made a valid statement on my one post, you went the other way, I have no time for you either, btw, wasn’t baiting you, just giving my thoughts

I will always wonder how many police shooting happen when a cop panics,,, once the first shot is fired,,,,,,,,,,,,, deadmen tell no tails

now I won't get into a pizzing match with the GLOCKERS,,, it is pointless you guys think they are great,,, I think they are junk,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, and I will leave it at that,,,,
I have thousands of rounds through numerous Glocks I own…never one issue or one ND. Sometimes carried IWB and OWB. I also have thousands of rounds through a few different Wilson 1911s…no issues there either. The one gun I will never own or carry again is Sig. I’ve owned 8 (4 x P365, 2 x P320 Compact, 1 X P320 Carry, and 1 x P229 RX) and never had issues with them either…but I won’t ever support them as a matter of principle. I turned all 8 of those Sigs into Glocks.

My current carry of choice is a Beretta Px4 CC2…same story, no issues, though haven’t reached thousands of rounds…yet. Few hundred more this upcoming week.

Now, can’t we all just get along 😀.

I’m fine sir, I just gave my opinion, everdently it wasn’t what he wanted to hear, no problem, sorry it got involved in your thread

I will say this and leave it alone,, MY OPINION,,, Glocks are an unsafe gun there is no manual safety on them anyone that has one in their hand no matter the age can touch the trigger and it will go off,,, we have lost children over this weapon someone makes the mistake of leaving it where a child can find it and they don't know it can go off with little effort,,,,,,,,,,,,, and before anyone says WELL IT SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN WHERE A KID CAN FIND IT,,,,,,,, people make mistakes EVERYONE MAKES MISTAKES,,,,,,,,,,,,, I WILL NOT OWN ONE,,,,, IF ALL OF A SUDDEN IT WAS ALL I COULD HAVE I WOULD BUY A BAT AND TAKE MY CHANCES

if you like them fine but don't try to tell me keeping your finger off the trigger is a safety,,,,, it's not that is common sence,,,,,,,,,, and there is a huge difference bettween a safety and common sence

My PF 9 not only doesn't have a manual safety , it doesn't even have a bladed safety in the trigger.

Sounds to me like someone just doesn't like Glocks so they come up with anything they can to try and convince others to dislike them also.

I don't like Glocks either but it has nothing to do with a safety issue. I also don't care for Sig handguns. Both are well made and many do like them.

As far as kids killing themselves with Glocks , I wonder what you blame when it happens with a revolver . It has before and may again.

Not sure how many pistols I own, but off the top of my head, I would say about 15. 2/3's being semi-autos, about 1/3 being revolvers. Only one has a manual safety, a 1911 style .45. And I don't carry that anymore. It's just now a (loaded) drawer gun. And before somebody gets upset about that, it's just the wife, the dogs, and me in the house. Kids are long since grown and moved out.

All gun owners should adhere to this

Not worried about thread at all…these “beaten the dead horse to death” arguments just become tedious.
There were negligent discharges long before there striker fired pistols should anyone choose to research it…

I’ve always been of the mind that anyone should own/carry/shoot what THEY are comfortable with. For some that is guns with multiple redundant mechanical safeties, for some decocker/double action, and for some a striker fired gun with a dongle. I know what I feel comfortable with and speculation from others isn’t really going to change my mind.

I don't like them, but they are definitely not junk. And they ARE exactly as safe as any striker fired gun.

Technically your training and your brain not allowing you to disobey the 4 rules is the safety. Manual safeties on guns fail all the time. And people still manage to have NDs and leave them laying around where children grab them and shoot their little brother with guns equipped with manual safeties.

You insist on them that's fine. Everything isn't for everybody. Besides, narrowing your ire down on Glock when about 90% of ALL striker fired guns ( which are the majority of guns sold currently) have no manual safety indicates to me you have something against Glocks that has little or nothing to do with manual safeties.

you are right,,,,,,,,, I wouldn't have one as a gift,,, I firmly believe they are one of the most unsafe guns on the market today,, and it isn't just Glock there are many handguns out there with no real safety on them,,,,,, and I will never own any of them,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

I am allowed my own opinion even if it does put your pantys in a wad,,,,,,,,,, BUT I DID NOT GET ON HERE AND SAY EVERYONE HAS TO GET RID OF THEM,,,, YOU CAN OWN WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY AND SO CAN I,,,,,,,,,BUT IT WILL ALWAYS HAVE A MANUEL SAFETY ON IT
