I have been known to carry a 1911 in a leather shoulder rig or on my hip, usually in situations where I need to wear a suit and jacket.
Huh.Nope, dumped them all except for a Colt Custom Shop I need to get rid of. Now, am all Glocks. FN's and 2 9mm Hellcats I carry.
1911 was made in 1911...archaic design and outdated in our new world order.

Huh?"New World Order"....now where and from whom do I hear that phrase of late...?
And that’s fine if you’re dealing with one bad guy but 2-3 you better have enough backup mags.I actually like the weight when shooting. Helps mitigate recoil. But I have noticed a little hitch in my giddyup lately.
In my opinion, the larger wound channel makes up for the lack of capacity
I live in Ga too and doing the same thing. But sure is nice to leave ur wallet at home sometimesBest thing about my state of Georgia is that you no longer need a permit to carry here. Only reason I’ll continue to get one is to travel to reciprocating states.
Ok then.Nope, dumped them all except for a Colt Custom Shop I need to get rid of. Now, am all Glocks. FN's and 2 9mm Hellcats I carry.

A nice heavy handful of peace of mind in that Les BaerWife & I went to the larger town for a Costco run, and a few other stops…weather is nicely cool (high of 60 something, so I could wear a cover garment…
Went with the Baer Custom Carry in a Galco shoulder holster. Felt nice.
