I've known a couple of guys who used those old saccharine tablets for the same stunts. I learned to do it with clay pigeons and had a much better hit record than I did when trap shooting with a shotgun. More practice I guess.

I have a buddy who shoots skeet with an unscoped 10/22. And never misses. That is impressive enough for me.

My one good sheriff deputy friend would take his revolver and shoot it holding it upside down, he could hit anything and his grouping was similar to when he shot the revolver normal way,
