We are getting a big blow tonight in the Florida Panhandle and surrounding area. They are telling us 70-80 mph winds around 0500 Tuesday. Y'all be careful out there.
Schools closed tomorrow. Cold air and warm moist air colliding. Spent the morning picking up stuff in the yard that will go flying. This is an unusual storm event for us.

We are accustomed to wild weather during hurricane season but this thing is different. My concern is falling trees and tornadoes. I brought in some extra firewood. The strong room door will stay open tonight. The generator tank is full. Let 'er rip!

we too...we just had like 6" of snow this past weekend, now tuesday into wednesday for us, gusty winds and rain..

Forecast 3"-12" snow starting tonight through tomorrow late PM in southern WI...I wish I could that "accurate" in my job and still keep it.

I just got home from work and caught this on NBC. I have family in Panama City Beach… and inland. My thoughts are with you and them.

3-7" of snow here tomorrow + 30mph winds, and then another 2-4" on Wed and continuing on into the weekend. High temps in the low 20s. Gonna get a little sloppy...

* I should add that this is pretty normal for us. It's just been an abnormally slow start to the winter season up until now.

We are going to tank to close to zero by the end of the week. Now they're saying sub zero by the weekend. Still I would take the subzero temps over those hurricanes and costal storms.
