California is going bankrupt.!!!!

I hear that in CommieFornia that Illegals and now apply to be police and yes they will receive firearms ❓
The way CommieFornia is doing things at least sounds plausible❓
ummm...so take the guns outta the hands of known and vetted Americans, and just hand them over to illegals....

what can go wrong..????

also does this mean Americans will have to learn to speak a second language.???

Well, 30 min has been added to my commute for traffic to/from work. 30 min before and now 60 min.. more if wreck.
Most towns/cities around me were on avg 1500 people in early ‘90s are now 250,000+ ., and growing.

8000 housing units are going up in a 5mile square radius around us …

This is a typical neighborhood in all the cities around me…
New house lots are now avg 50’x 110’ to pack in the houses…

Yay me !! Been here since ‘83. Time to leave

just one toilet backs up and your in the SHIIITTT
Rockwall Tx is getting this bad now as well.

Well, I hate to say this but better they go to Texas than New Mexico. We have our share of idiots and morons already. I must say though we do have our share of former Californians, that's why prices of houses have gone sky high here.

The U.S.A. has been bankrupt for a long time. The only reason we haven't fallen is the dollar's place as the world reserve currency. There is a major move to change it to something else. If that happens, we instantly fall.
The U$D is backed by air (since 1971) as the Euro is backed by air also.

However BRICS currency is backed by Gold/assets.
All OPEC countries have abandoned the U$D and using their own currencies between them.

Maybe, just maybe the hand writing is on the wall ❓

The prices of houses these days is ridiculous. My niece just bought her first house. A nice suburban neighborhood. Small house, needs work. 230k.

I think the original note for the house I live in was 56k. And I bought the house next door a couple years ago for 5k. Both needed work, but....

Looks like a parking lot

During Covid. People moved from expensive homes to cheaper, nicer locations when they began to be able to work from home. For many, this meant going back to their home town. That means many—if not most—of these Californians were from Texas.

Cali has big churn anyway as people realize they won't be a star. The difference is not how many people left. It is that fewer people came.

Lastly, the eastern half of California is as right leaning as the Dirty South. Cali haters would love it there.

Housing costs have gone up drastically almost everywhere, but especially in the hard red states since that's where the majority of those leaving blue states are ending up. Sad thing is they bring their blue state politics with them to the red states gradually changing the state's politics purple then to blue.

I play poker with a group that includes just such a guy. Nice enough guy but since he and his family moved here all he talks about is how he doesn't like the way things are run here ... how he feels things should be run more like where he left. Ask him about why he left and his first reply is "the politics, taxes, etc". (Duhhh!)

But the cost of housing is on the verge of going totally crazy in the next couple years all over due to the influx of 5.8 million (last number I heard) of the illegal migrants who have arrived in the past three years plus the number of that 5.8 million working right this minute having anchor babies so as to reduce the probability of being deported in the next 8-10 years. That's a hell of a lot of people coming into anywhere in such a short time.

And note, I'm not complaining about the illegal migrants taking advantage of this country's current administration allowing, inviting, and even enabling them to come. I'm blaming the administration. When this kind of migration number occur, legally or otherwise, the education, healthcare, housing, and public service resources simply can't take the impact over such a short time. Our kid's schools are overloaded, many times requiring a backing up of the curriculum to accommodate those migrants from lesser educated countries, costs for second language teachers and facilitators, costs for a second language printing of school materials, legal paper work, even street signs and other public publications, etc.

Think about that for a minute ... 5.8 known illegals, who knows how many got always, some number of legal immigrants, and of course the number of home grown and birthed citizens out of that 5.8 million. It all adds to a big number in a short time folks, and they all have to find a place to live.
