California is going bankrupt.!!!!

Housing costs have gone up drastically almost everywhere, but especially in the hard red states since that's where the majority of those leaving blue states are ending up. Sad thing is they bring their blue state politics with them to the red states gradually changing the state's politics purple then to blue.

I play poker with a group that includes just such a guy. Nice enough guy but since he and his family moved here all he talks about is how he doesn't like the way things are run here ... how he feels things should be run more like where he left. Ask him about why he left and his first reply is "the politics, taxes, etc". (Duhhh!)

But the cost of housing is on the verge of going totally crazy in the next couple years all over due to the influx of 5.8 million (last number I heard) of the illegal migrants who have arrived in the past three years plus the number of that 5.8 million working right this minute having anchor babies so as to reduce the probability of being deported in the next 8-10 years. That's a hell of a lot of people coming into anywhere in such a short time.

And note, I'm not complaining about the illegal migrants taking advantage of this country's current administration allowing, inviting, and even enabling them to come. I'm blaming the administration. When this kind of migration number occur, legally or otherwise, the education, healthcare, housing, and public service resources simply can't take the impact over such a short time. Our kid's schools are overloaded, many times requiring a backing up of the curriculum to accommodate those migrants from lesser educated countries, costs for second language teachers and facilitators, costs for a second language printing of school materials, legal paper work, even street signs and other public publications, etc.

Think about that for a minute ... 5.8 known illegals, who knows how many got always, some number of legal immigrants, and of course the number of home grown and birthed citizens out of that 5.8 million. It all adds to a big number in a short time folks, and they all have to find a place to live.
Look at the bright side. Soon those invaders whose language you never heard before will be the police with a badge and a gun for your protection the way they want it.

Your 5.8 million is low according to the official Govt count of 7-8 million (processed) plus 40-50% more get-a-ways according to Border Patrol grunts. They expect 4 million more this year since its an election year & the cartels & a certain party want to get more in.

Oh I know, I don't doubt that 7-8 million number at all. I heard Mayorkus (sp?) say a few days ago they accept there is fewer than 75% of the encounters are allowed to stay for an asylum hearing in this country with a 'Notice to Appear' about 8-10 years from the day they are released. Who the hell is kidding who here, said I????? Then either yesterday or today I heard him admit the number was more like >85% are released into the country with similar criteria.

What are our leaders thinking? Do they not realize how they are damaging our country? These people come from countries where they don't even have medical records or even worse some don't even record births since millions of them are born in homes around their country. How can we possibly know what diseases they may be bringing with them into this country when that disease was potentially eliminated for all practical purposes many years/generations ago, and this doesn't even consider any crime records from most of these 3rd world countries. The only records, if any, are kept in family books or scratched onto the wall boards holding up the shacks.

And again, I fully understand and sympathize with those honest, hard working individuals who are simply trying to provide their family a better life. But we (the USA) simply cannot support and provide for the entire world, and neither should it be expected to.

Throngs of Chinese males just strolling on in across the southern border. The US has enough enemies in the world we should damn well be vetting anyone we let in. Sooner or later some sleeper cells are going to be activated.

I find it unbelievable that the United States of America is allowing a plethora of potential enemies into the country, but people like me had to go through everything short of a proctology exam before we were granted permission to be here. Not to mention the thousands of dollars and years stuck in a very broken immigration system. Just saying..

"What are our leaders thinking?" This is intentional, planned and executed perfectly. Schwab and Soros (and many others) have been dumping millions of dollars into our political system for a reason. This problem is now too late to fix. The middle class is disappearing, and now extraordinarily difficult to join. Power can be a terrible thing.

Going back to the original post….
There is one bright star in the whole thing - and admittedly it’s a distant one…

The possibility may exist they deplete CA, Wash State, IL, etc, populations to the point they lose congressional seats to conservative states.
If their exile is dispersed enough not to vote in liberal reps in their new states, that is.
There is *some* beauty built into our system, anyway.

I live in Tucson, the closest midsize city to Nogales Sector, one of the busiest ones. We're not being "overrun" or anything like that. The social services that offer humane assistance to asylum seekers are working at an accelerated rate. But there's no flood.

Construction firms restaurants and farms are all still short of workers. And I never heard a US citizen say "I lost my job picking cotton to an illegal immigrant.

If you want to reduce the time asylum seekers are in the country, fix that by better funding for the asylum courts. All the business that hire undocumented workers will hate it, but that's the only real path to a solution.

Well, tell your companies that want illegals to work restuarants, fields, etc to come hire them from the Texas street corners. I pass 50+ every day to/from work in a parking lot looking for “day labor”.

I disagree. Another way to solve it is to close the border and not give anyone asylum based on their financial status. Especially ones who break the law by sneaking into the country before claiming asylum. Quit giving them free ****. Deport them back to the country they came from. Make the penalty for hiring illegal aliens so drastic no one will do it.

Of course none of that will happen. So at a minimum I think all the people who claim there isn't a problem, no human is illegal, we're a sanctuary city, blah, blah, Make them pay for it. I suggest you personally put your money where your mouth is and take a few of them into your home. I'm sure you got some odd jobs they can do for you.

We are catching hell in Texas. The damage is already done by the millions here now. Most of the states in our country are affected by the illegal migrants now and will continue for many, many years to come.

I fear for my grandchildren and the kind of country they will inherit.
they will inherit a country where the official language is not English, they will inherit a country where the schools teach socialism, they will inherit a country where the government has "mind and thought" chips inserted into thier heads, they will inherit a country where the government takes care of them for better control of birth rates, jobs by class, race, color, and will eradicate religion.

The largest landscape company has their. "training center" in Texas. I've always wondered what Texas is doing wrong. In Arizona, we help asylum seekers get to where they want to go. And we don't have any of that, except sometimes in Yuma.

We bus them by the millions to NY, IL, MN and NJ 🤪🤪😉😉
The Homeland Security provides the transportation and private charities coordinate with private charities at the other end to make sure the transfer is smooth. Usually these aslyum seekers are traveling to meet family who will take care of them.

Texas takes people to where they don't want to go and dumps them on the side of the road. Not even a heads up call to destination government or charities. It's possible this strategy is backfiring.

Much of this could be eliminated by properly funding asylum courts. I'm talking to you House Republicans.
