Shamsud Din Jabbar. I wonder if he came into the country legally?
He was supposedly a US Citizen. Was he on the FIB's radar, and they dropped the ball as they so often do? Was he allowed to do this? So many questions......Shamsud Din Jabbar. I wonder if he came into the country legally?
Fort Hood.News just said the perp was an Army vet.
Politicians aren't law enforcement. The PD are responsible for on the ground safety. So, Nawlins was woefully unprepared and lackadaisical with their security. Apparently, their automatic barricades were malfunctioning, and had been for a long time. So, they parked cars in front of barriers they put up in the street, but never thought anybody could go up on the sidewalks around them. Typical democrat government malfeasance. And during the conference they were emphasizing they would be fixing the problems. Well, too little, too late. This is what Nawlins voted for, however.
The politicians are the ones in charge of the budget, spending, prioritizing and holding contractors to account. They bought this system from someone, who installed it, and have had nothing but problems with it. So, rather than putting their feet to the fire and rectifying the problem, they chose instead to wait until they got funding from another infrastructure project, and do half azzed work arounds instead. This was part of their last infrastructure package, which they obviously squandered, as is their mo. The PD can only do so much with what they had. Yes, it was their "leadership" from their supervisors on up, that are responsible for this.Politicians aren't law enforcement. The PD are responsible for on the ground safety.
wellFormer FBI Special Agent Chris Swecker told Fox News Digital that New Orleans has "always been a problematic police department."
"This type of event is indeed predictable, and it is fundamental that you protect the highest concentration of people at the event. You have to question how a truck got through the perimeter. I can see a lone gunman getting through, it's hard to fathom a truck breaching that perimeter. I suspect they were protecting the perimeter with wooden barriers," Swecker said.
"I can guarantee you in Times Square last night they were protecting that perimeter with vehicles and solid objects. Security is a tough thing when you haven't had an event like this in your Venue in a while but the fact is this has happened twice in New Orleans since 2017," he added.
No doubt about the PD being problematic! I've heard first hand accounts of them knocking out drunk people for pissing on the sidewalk.Former FBI Special Agent Chris Swecker told Fox News Digital that New Orleans has "always been a problematic police department."
