Clip Vs. Magazine: Don’t Waste Your Breath

Let the word smithing begin...

A clip is a metal device used to load ammunition into a magazine. They're usually shaped to hold cartridges in a row and are pushed into a magazine by hand to load it. A magazine, in turn, is a spring loaded device or holding area on a firearm that feeds rounds into the chamber of the gun during use.

It says this on the internet. If its on the internet it has to be true...

well, i always heard a magazine called a "clip" like in nearly all cops tv shows or movies.

when i started going to the public range to rent guns before buying, that's when i was told the difference, but to not sweat it, way too many people get that wrong.

as long as i put mustard on my hot dogs, and NOT ketchup, we're all good.
