Apparently the TTI Combat is having quite a lot of mechanical issues. This is probably karma for buyers thinking they were getting a $900 TTI Sand Viper.

I closely looked at the Revial, but once the slide was off and I saw all those little springs, nah….next time when I get a chance to get out to a range, I’ll do a report on my Girsan, just been to busy with doctors, tests, treatment, I’ll get out real soon though.
Again with the price...If I am going to purchase something where my life depends on it, I would buy the best that I could afford. Quality is the important thing...certainly not the price!!!
On the Girsan 1911, quality is better then some of the domestic manufacturers, fit is great, no tool marks inside or out, while it doesn’t match up to my Colts or Sig, it’s very close, plus they offer a lifetime warranty which most domestic manufacturers don’t. Right now my carry gun is a Jimenez Arms .25 auto in a sticky pocket holster, still can’t wear a belt and holster yet due to my surgery, but this little gun is great , feeds and shoots anything I throw at it, I got complete faith in it if it’s ever needed.
I never found one to get my hands on either of them.
There are plenty of very good Turkish guns that don’t cost a fortune that are as good, or better, than many large manufacturers. And when it comes to “the best that I could afford” what is that exactly? Glock 17, 229 Legion, Shadow 2 Compact, Staccato, 226 X5 ? I can afford any of those, and own several, and they’re all a good choice, but is a $2400 Staccato more reliable than a $500 Glock? No it isn’t. I’m as big a pricy gun snob as there is, but I’m not going to criticize someone else’s choice of firearm.
