Cop shoots acorn

Yes. It ranks right up there with mandatory training to own a gun and cops executing suspects without a trial.
yes, shoot the suspects on sight. if one is shooting at them, or has already killed a victim, get it done.

no more coddling the suspects, because of race, color, social standing, only to be set free, by the libtards.

first....what is ORSD..???

you can't be using acronyms and expect people to know all of them.

kinda a difference between a woman being sexually assaulted and a rampaging shooting cop at some actual, factual nuts falling from a tree.

but yes, if one is "diagnosed" as PTSD, then that should be a red flag to own a gun...sorry...but we cannot do it for one, and not the other.

the form 4473 needs to be changed, for christ sakes, they ask if we live in the city where our home address is? or if we are going to buy the gun and give it to someone who cannot have a gun....whether we are white, black hispanic, etc,etc....what does color or race got to do with buying a gun, over a mentally unstable (aka) PTSD person..???

"they" the lawmakers, want to take away or guns, i say lets make sure those with PTSD don't get them either, or jobs that require them to have them.

change that 4473 to include this

enough of this BS.....
Had a typo and couldn’t edit as time expires. I ment to type PTSD

And as for labeling everyone with PTSD it’s pretty clear if they are needing connected or a Dr (not you or me) deem them mentally defunct then sure OK.

Lots of folks fall into that whole PTSD thing folks that were abused, rape or sex assault victims etc that doesn’t mean they are dangerous.

Even some military that see their best friend killed while they are wounded and get a therapy dog. I wouldn’t sweep a broad brush and say every one shouldn’t be allowed to have a firearm. No if they are talking violence or suicidal ideation then yeah we should interview and get them treatment.

i disagree...i think they pose a huge danger to everyone, at any time.

I know a gal down the street who got T-boned at the intersection up near the highway. It gave her PTSD for about a year. I also know there are thousands of soldiers with PTSD who put their lives on the line so you could sit in your communist state whining about the horrible gun laws without being executed by the gestapo.

I'd really like to blame your damaged logic circuits on you needing a nap, but evidence proves beyond a doubt an upgrade is needed.

I'm as pro LEO as anyone and I have first hand experience of many cases of d***wad cops who never should have been allowed to carry a gun or a badge making critical errors that cost innocent people their lives. I know without a doubt of at least 2 cases very close to me, involving people I knew and loved, who were straight up murdered by cops. The best guitar player I ever saw play in person ( he was my dad's best friend and his band played at my wedding reception) was murdered by a cop because he was romantically involved with the cop's ex wife. My brother's lawyer was murdered by cops because he had proof they planted evidence. I personally watched a pair of municipal cops break the law by entering a residence illegally, without a warrant or probable cause.

There is a very good reason why ALL people deserve their day in court. Our government and society is built on that concept. I secretly think you enjoy living in the state you live in. Based on your proclivities I think you might enjoy living in Moscow. They definitely have no qualms executing people without due process over there.

i find it "interesting" how anyone can claim.."PTSD" these days.

back decades ago, it was called "shell shocked" and deservingly so, by soldiers in war zones, being bombarded.

i find it difficult to believe that a t-bone accident qualifies as PTSD...sorry, i just don't buy it.

i will only "accept" the claim of PTSD from a service person, and that is even IF that person was indeed, in a war zone, being fired upon...not someone stateside, working in an office on base.

i was not ever...anti cop....i have high respect for those who do that job, and it irks me when one or a couple of them are ambushed, by useless low life thugs.

no, not ALL people deserve thier day in court, especially those that kill, maime, rape, or steal, loot, etc...etc..

did THEY respect the rights of the victims?..HELL EFFING NO..!!

so...shoot on sight.....

and ANYONE that has PTSD should NEVER be allowed to hold, buy or own a gun...i feel they cannot be trusted, given they could "snap" on a moments notice.

You have a lot of opinions on things you know absolutely nothing about, that's for sure.

and i shall express them.

until the politicians take away not only the 2nd amendment, but the 1st as well.

I don't see how eliminating either amendment should cause you any concern. You clearly have no respect for the entire document.

Just remember, there are those who look at the 1st and 2nd amendments with the same disdain you hold for the 4th, 5th, 6th and 8th.

those amendments only apply to honest people, not known criminals, thugs, etc.

why should criminals be afforded such rights, when they clearly never took the victims rights into consideration?

does a murderer ever say to his victim, "oh wait, i must check the constitution and see if i am violating your rights", before i slaughter you.

i show no respect for criminals. never did, never will.

apparently, too many others think criminals should "get a pass" on what they do.

I’m just saying with your broad brush approach that could be weaponized for say that couple seeking professional help for say one having a sex/porn addiction or whatever.

That’s how the red flags have turned out.

Obviously in the acorn case with him rolling around he had issues and he should have been issues addressed and he should never have been hired there are some labeled with PTSD that are nowhere near the level of that Deputy.

Of course the side of this that nobody is talking about is training needs to get away from this Boogieman gonna get you and shoot til the threat goes away where they mag dump with no possible way of assessing if the shots are even legal let alone the whole assessment of what is really going on.

2 really horrible shootings in a couple weeks. The two female deputies in Texas Are another where assessment didn’t happen. So the homeowner had a gun there’s a difference when you are gun up and they are holding it at their side vs if they are aimed in your direction.

Several national training folks predicted and I believ it in the next 5 years you will see an LEO prosecutes for pointing a firearm at someone that they wernt legally allowed to shoot. Like a property crime anyone in LE for the last 40 years we have all been guilty of it as that was the way it was but that was also why cases like this happen and the wrong folks get shot. But most of us quit doing it

Like years ago we hunted deer from tree stands with no harness. Enough folks got injured by falls we use safety harnesses now!
