I get cha. But let me assure you Buc-ees is far more than a gas station. My wife and her friends went to one nearest us several times and each time I'd say, I don't want to go to no damned gas station, even one with 100 pumps. Then on one trip she brought me home a pound of that brisket ... well the very next Sunday we drove (a 3 hr drive) back up to that gas station for some more of that brisket. Trust me there will be a crowd. But you can stand and watch them actually slice the fresh out of the pit brisket right in front of you. Or you can get it chopped if you prefer.
Ever since that first trip I made, we've gone back many times just for a couple pounds of sliced brisket and a couple pounds of pulled/chopped pork. Take my word for it, and I don't too often tout any commercial enterprise, but Buc-ees has the secret to those smoked meats. Try it, you'll like it.
