Kinda looks like my wife's family. 15 kids, have no idea how many grand & great grand children there are.

My mother-in-law was 5 feet tall, probably weighed very little over 100 pounds. My father-in-law was over 6 feet & probably weighed in 240-250lbs. Poor mother-in-law couldn't get away, so 15 children came to be.

Obviously she was 'hard of hearing'. When they would go to bed at night and Pa would say ... "Well Ma, you ready to go to sleep or what?" And Ma would answer ... "What?"

If my wife new I was discussing her mother, I'd probably catch hell. I meant no disrespect, she was one tough little lady.

With 15 kids, she was a Saint !
There were two big families in the area that I grew up in. One was about a mile from us and the other was a mile and a half. The one about a mile from us had 11 kids and the other one had 17. When we started the 8th grade , one of the guys uncles started the 1st grade from the biggest family.
