Don't know how old you are and I bet you're in a lot better shape than I am. I try to stay active but unfortunately I have limits.I train at a lot of distances but my pistols are zeroed at 15 yards.

507C is a great red dot. Very robust. I have several and have never had a problem with one. I wish they looked a bit less clunky, but that’s part of what makes them so robust.I'll check that one out right now.
Let us know how you like it. I'm thinking of the same. Thanks a lot for the info. I just ordered the EPS from amazon for $319.00

Someone else on the forum said that were concerned about ejected brass hitting the sight. I posted a photo of a Trijicon SRO on my Echelon and it is very close to ejection port. Never had any brass strikes. This person showed a photo of the new RMR mounted on his Echelon and it appeared to be positioned about the same as my SRO.If the brass were hitting the sight, I think it would be ejecting towards your body. It reminds me of being afraid you'll hit the tail when jumping from a small plane.
Im a trijicon fanI'll hit the range next weekend to get it zeroed and will report back my initial impressions.
Although I can say, I turned on the auto brightness feature and that thing is pretty slick. It's very responsive and I think I'm going to leave it on for further testing
when I bought this pistol, the plan was always to mount this particular optic so I'm pretty excited to finally have it. Always liked the RMR but hated the battery location. SRO has an awesome window but I was never a fan of the rounded window, thought it looked odd on slides that are very square. I think this is a nice compromise between the twoIm a trijicon fan
Does this fairly new RMR HD have the shake-awake feature? I swapped out my RMR & SRO dots for that reason alone. Went with Holosun EPS's and think they're are as good or better than the Trijicon's. Not to mention the difference in $$. Just my opinion.I'll hit the range next weekend to get it zeroed and will report back my initial impressions.
