testtest

for our resident 10mm

What really got my attention was a tanfoglio gold match extreme in 10mm. It had an optic mounted, (5) 14rnd mags and I can't remember how much extra stuff with it. The kicker was the price near 3k.
Not into there firearms myself especially in 10mm, I personally saw one in 10mm break the frames rail off on one side after a little over a 100 rounds, just sayin

Have been checking this one out myself.

The one I may get from my brother…

I would check out SigTalk. There’s been a lot of QC problems with the XTen.
Thanks for posting this Simon. Other than issues loading Underwood hotter loads into the mags and getting the gun into battery for one poster, and some posts on using heavier recoil springs for hotter loads, I don't see issues (albeit I was doing quick searches and may have missed other issue related posts). Could you mention what QC issues you've heard about? I would much appreciate it as I was going to look into one today. Thanks

I’m not saying don’t buy one, I don’t personally have any experience with one, but there’s been issues reported that I suspect are new model teething issues. Mind you, there was a lot of groaning about the P322 as well and mine runs like a top.

Grayguns has done a lot with these guns, they may have some useful info on their web site

Appreciate the links Simon. Yeah I went through the P320 issues after buying all the calibers when they first came out. Fortunately my P365 was a gen 3 that fixed those issues in prior generations

Just got back home from the LGS and ordered the Sig X-Ten and a S&W PC Ported Sheild Plus with CT optic. The S&W is at the distributor, so I should get that one in a week or two. The X-Ten isn't, so that will be a longer wait.
I want to thanks @SimonRL who sent me links on some reported X-Ten issues. I had already ordered the Sig before getting a chance to read them, but replied to his post from the LGS.
Simon, I feel bad that you did the research with links that I should have done. I did a few (seeing some that you linked to), but needed to go do errands with the LGS on the way, so I thought I just ask you for things you heard about it, (not thinking you'd go through the trouble of linking these posts). I just want to again say it was greatly appreciated and I bestow upon you this well deserving award 🏆 (sorry they aren't the Caniks, as those were promised to @KillerFord1977 😆).
With the wait until the X-Ten comes in (maybe problems will be corrected), I'll check it out once it arrives. I didn't have to put anything down, and if I decline, they know they can always sell it as Sigs go fast at their store.
Simon, I Know you weren't saying buy it or don't buy it, and I want to thank you for the additional information on it. So thanks buddy, (y) it came in handy on what to look out for when I get my hands on one (and then they'll come out with the Legion version and I'll go through this again ;)) .

Wait....but, but, but it worked when testing......................right?

Since they're not the 1st or will be the last to produce a firearm that doesn't have bad manufacturing issues it is horrible on these type of manufacturers to release this kind of crap!
